At college, Xiguang Nie had a crush on Xu Zhuang, a talented business major, but it was one-sided. After graduation she entered her family's photovoltaic company and became a grassroots employee. She met the deputy general manager, Yusen Lin who was parachuted in; he was once a doctor but retired from the medical industry after a car accident. He deliberately makes things difficult for Xiguang Nie because of a misunderstanding, but because of her he unties his knot and heals the pain caused by the inability to perform delicate surgery. He pursues Xiguang Nie passionately, allowing her to experience warm, sincere love. In an unexpected rescue, Yusen Lin responds to the call of his heart and resumes his medical career. Xiguang Nie also finds the way to self-realization at work. With help from his mother, he leads the company out of trouble and eventually becomes an excellent business manager. Xu Zhuang also looks back on the past, reconciles with his heart, and embarks on his own life path.
