Season 11 commenced with a two-hour special titled "Instruments of Death: Masters of the Siege." In this episode, four teams of expert builders were tasked with creating large-scale siege weapons, including war hammers, battering rams, and ballistas. The victorious team earned a $20,000 prize and the distinction of becoming the first-ever Forged in Fire: Instruments of Death champions.
